It is with great sadness to report that on Sunday, November 30, 2008,
Susan Keel Lamar ended her valiant fight with pancreatic cancer
after more than two years of unbelievable effort and strength.

took part in the first annual Dog Walk that
was held in Rocky Mount October 4th

Nearly $100,000 has been raised for Paws for A Cause event that took place October 4th. After nearly 10 months of planning, more than $80,000 had been donated by friends and family and acquaintances before the event on October 4th. Nearly $10,000 was donated the day of the walk by folks who registered their pets to take part in the walk.
